Adobe Audition is a professional digital audio workstation included with Creative Cloud. For paranormal investigators already using Adobe Premiere Pro for video review, Audition integrates directly — send audio from Premiere to Audition for detailed analysis, process it, and return the result to the video timeline automatically. Audition's Spectral Frequency Display is powerful for EVP work. Use the Paintbrush Selection Tool to lasso anomalous spectral events and apply Heal Selection — Audition analyses surrounding content and fills the selection with plausible noise floor content, erasing contamination. The DeNoise and DeReverb effects are automatic adaptive tools — no manual noise profile needed.

Audition's Match Loudness panel normalises a batch of recordings to a consistent loudness level, which is important when reviewing recordings made on different devices or different gain settings at the same investigation. Standardised loudness makes it much easier to identify statistically anomalous loud events across a recording set.
